WHO WE ARE?
Global Bildung Afrika e.V. ist ein gemeinnütziger Bildungs- und Begegnungsverein in Minden. Unser besonderer Schwerpunkt liegt auf Kindern, Jugendlichen und Familien mit afrikanischen Wurzeln und Migrationsgeschichte. Wir schaffen Räume für Bildung, Begegnung, kulturellen Austausch und Empowerment. Dabei möchten wir Kinder und Jugendliche stärken, Familien unterstützen und den interkulturellen Dialog in Minden und Umgebung fördern. Unsere Angebote sind offen für alle Menschen, die interkulturellen Austausch, Bildung, Vielfalt und gesellschaftliche Teilhabe unterstützen. ##Was wir tun: Wir organisieren Bildungs-, Kultur- und Begegnungsangebote für Kinder, Jugendliche und Familien. Dazu gehören Sprach- und Leseworkshops, Empowerment-Angebote, Eltern-Kind-Veranstaltungen, kreative Projekte, Musik, Tanz, Trommelangebote, Vorträge sowie interkulturelle Begegnungen. Ein besonderer Fokus liegt auf der Stärkung von Selbstbewusstsein, Mehrsprachigkeit, kultureller Identität und gesellschaftlicher Teilhabe. Bei passenden Veranstaltungen schaffen wir außerdem Begegnung durch afrikanische Musik, Trommeln, Tanz und kulinarische Einblicke in afrikanische Esskulturen. Afrika in Schule und Bildungseinrichtungen Auf Anfrage bringen wir afrikanische Perspektiven auch in Schulen, Kitas und andere Bildungseinrichtungen ein – durch Workshops, Vorträge, kreative Bildungsangebote, Trommel- und Rhythmusangebote, Musik, Tanz, Erzählungen und interkulturelle Begegnungsformate. Unsere Angebote können individuell an die jeweilige Altersgruppe und den Bedarf der Einrichtung angepasst werden. Bei Interesse kontaktieren Sie uns gerne.

Our Story
Global Bildung Afrika e.V. was founded on June 4, 2025, in Minden, Germany. The association grew out of the commitment of families and people with African roots who wanted to create a space for education, encounter, cultural identity and social participation for children, young people and families.
Our goal is to empower young people, support families and build bridges between different cultures. We combine African perspectives with intercultural education, music, language, creativity and community.
The association is registered with the Local Court of Bad Oeynhausen under registration number VR 2030 and is officially recognized as a non-profit organization.
OUR ACTIVITIES
From intercultural events to education programs, mentoring and community spaces.
Intercultural Events & Projects
We organise cultural and educational events for children, youth and adults to promote intercultural understanding. Including talks, film screenings, readings and art exhibitions.
Workshops & Education Programs
We develop and run workshops and seminars on intercultural education, African history, language, art and sustainable development.
Scholarships & Mentoring
We support children, youth and adults through education programs, scholarships, mentoring projects and partnerships with local educational institutions
Community Spaces & Dialogue
We create open spaces that enable dialogue between different cultural communities – building bridges and fostering mutual understanding in Minden.
