Mentoring Programs

Our mentoring programs support children and youth in their personal development, school journey and transition into professional life.

Project Description

Every child deserves a guiding hand. Through our mentoring programs, we support children and youth with African roots in Minden on their personal development journey — from school through to professional life. Our mentors provide one-on-one and group guidance, helping young people navigate the German school system, explore career pathways and build the confidence and skills they need to thrive. Mentors draw on their own lived experience to inspire and motivate the next generation. Beyond academic support, our mentoring programs focus on building resilience, cultural identity and social skills. We believe that when young people feel seen, supported and connected to their roots, they are better equipped to contribute positively to society and reach their full potential.
